Editing D0gg F00d made me decide to go ahead and do this album, as well. A classic and one of my favorite records of all time.
While the studio edit of this album is readily available, it consists primarily of backmasks and radio versions. Backmasks throw off head nods and sound almost as bad as the dirty versions. Radio versions with alternate lyrics are great if you don't know the original versions. But it's hard to rap along to them if you know the OG versions by heart.
So here it is. I removed most of the skits and some of the intros (for example, since I didn't have to, I decided not to listen to the D.0.C. urinate for the first 10 seconds of G|n and Ju|ce). I also included Gz |_|p H0es D0wn since it was on the version I bought when the album came out. Some of these were super tricky and didn't quite turn out perfectly In my opinion, they are still more enjoyable than the studio edited version. Hope you enjoy! -Decaf
Don't stop - Git it, git it!
It's the Hip-Hop music you love, but edited so you can listen to (most of) it around your kids or your parents. This blog focuses on the underground scene, since those artists often don't release a clean version like the big acts do. I've also included old albums that either don't have clean versions, or the clean version is very poorly done. Since I take the time to carefully edit these albums myself, most of this stuff you can't get ANYWHERE else.
