Why don't you edit out the 'n' word?

All,
Thank you for you support and input in the comment box.  Whether you agree or disagree, the following is my opinion and no argument, however persuasive, will change it.
Given our country's history, I believe the black community can use the 'n' word however the heck they want.  They have taken an offensive racial slur and turned into a term of camaraderie and solidarity (there is a clear and undeniable distinction between the usage of "n***er" and "nigga").  It is completely inappropriate for me or any other white person to tell black people that they should or should not use that word.  In this context, it is not a profanity - thus, I do not remove it in my edits.
Again, thank you for supporting the blog.  It takes a lot of work to edit music and I'm glad to see others appreciate it.

  1. First, thanks for the work that you do. I love having edited versions that I can play in certain environments like work. I do wish that you would edit the n-word because it still makes the songs unplayable though everything else is edited out. I know it's your call and I can't complain about something that you do yourself. Keep up the good (clean) work.
